Prof. Dr. Ilir Mustafaj

Prof. Dr. Ilir Mustafaj, completed his higher studies as a lawyer with excellent results (gold medal) at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana, in the period 1992-1996.

He has 25 years of experience in the Justice System as a judge in the Tirana Judicial District Court.

• - In the period 2010 - 2015 he was elected a Member of the High Council of Justice by the National Judicial Conference.
• - In January 2016, he was elected as Vice President of the Executive Council of the National Judicial Conference by the latter.
• - In 2005, he completed his Master studies in the field of civil law at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana.
• - In 2010 he received the scientific title "Dr" in the field of civil law at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana.
• - In 2012 he received the scientific title "Associate Professor" in the field of civil law at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana.
• - Since 2016 he holds the highest academic title "Professor Doctor", awarded by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Albania.

He has participated in many trainings and official visits in different European countries, where it is worth mentioning the representation of the School of Magistrates of the Republic of Albania in the meeting of the Directors of the Schools of Magistrates of Europe held in Strasbourg (France) in June 2014.

With a long 25-year academic career, Prof. Dr. Ilir Mustafaj has held and holds important academic positions as a lecturer in Public and Private Universities, as a doctoral leader and member of committees in the Doctoral School, external lecturer, and expert of the School of Magistrates.
Areas of teaching of Prof. Dr. Ilir Mustafaj are mainly: "Law of Obligations", "Law of Contracts", "Business Law", "Civil Procedure Law".

PUBLICATIONS

Prof. Dr. Ilir Mustafaj has participated in many important national and international conferences in the field of civil law and is author of many articles in scientific journals in the field of civil law inside and outside the country.

Prof. Dr. Ilir Mustafaj is author and co-author of books and monographs in the field of civil law, namely:

• "Civil damage resulting from criminal offenses" (Morava Publishing House 2011)
• "Obligations and contracts", (ARON Print Publishing House 2016)
• "Legal treatment of contract according to the Albanian legislation", (Publishing House Edizioni Nuova Cultura Italy 2014)
